Too Little Too Late (Max)

Krystal called out to Miley wanting her come curl up beside Buddy. Buddy was wanting Miley to lay with him on the big bed. James fell asleep and moved onto his belly.

Miley got up and the puppies stayed where they were. They were still asleep. Miley ran to the room and got onto the bed. She laid down in front of Buddy. Max sighed and sat on the couch.

Buddy looked at Miley and moved to curl up beside her. He had missed being curled up with her during the night. Krystal was crying. She didn't want to be blind again. She needed Max more than anything right now. Shooter looked up and heard crying. He made a soft noise at Max saying he'd watch Britney and James for him.

Max nodded and got up. He went upstairs and went to their bedroom. He took off his shirt and pants. He kept his boxers on and went to the bed. He went to Krystal's side and gently kissed her forehead. "I'm here, baby." he said. Miley nuzzled her face closer to Buddy's face

Krystal sat up and moved even without being able to see and hugged him. "I don't like not being able to see. I can't take it. It means I have to learn to ride without being able to see all over again," she said. She was crying. She buried her face against his neck. Buddy gently licked the side of Miley's face.

He sat on the bed and held her in his lap. He rubbed her back and held her. "I know,baby. I'll talk to Edward and see if he can help." he said softly. Miley gently licked Buddy's face

Krystal cried more. She hated those doctors. "Can we sue those doctors that said that the treatment would fix my eyes? They lied to me twice now. I can't take it anymore," she said. Buddy licked Miely's face just glad he finally came home.

Max nodded. "Yes, we can." He said and kissed the top of her head. "I love you so very much." he said. Miley gently nuzzled her face closer to Buddy's face

"I love you so much more. I'm even happier having Buddy back in our lives," she said. Buddy heard her but soon fell asleep beside Miley and curled around her.

Max smiled. "It seems that Miley missed Buddy." he said. Miley fell asleep

"Of course she missed him. Did you see how she actted for those weeks after we thought he was dead," she said. She moved and crawled onto the bed. She wanted to get some sleep. She got to his side of the bed and then out of no where fell off the bed. "Oops," she said. Buddy woke up and suddenly started to get up and made a sound. He didn't know if Max would help her or not.

Max went to her and picked her up. He carried her to her side of the bed and laid her down. He put the blanket over her and went to his side of the bed. He laid down and held her in his arms

"See what happened when I'm blind. I'm a danger to myself," she said. She moved and laid her head on his chest. She felt horrible for this happening.

He held her and kissed the top of her head. "I'm here, baby." he said softly

"I'm useless when I'm blind. I can't do anything right," she said. She started to cry. Buddy had fallen back to sleep beside Miley. He had pulled their blanket from the dog bed and covered them both with it.

Max frowned. "You are not useless." he said. He held her and rubbed her back. He hated the doctors for what they did to her and he was going to call Edward. "Lets get some sleep." he suggested

"Well, now we're back to how it was before we got married. Your going to have to do almost everything for me again. So, yeah I am useless," she said. She was fiddling with the allergy bracelet on her wrist. She knew if he saw it he'd end up reading it to find out that she is allergic to bees and nuts.

"I do things for you because you are my wife and I love you." he said. He saw the braclet and knew it was an allergy braclet. "baby, you never told me that you had alergies." he said

"Well, I forgot. You know that peanut butter you put on toast for me, well it's fake peanut butter. It's peabutter. But, Buddy is highly trained in being a watch dog, sniffing for nuts and bees," she said. She was starting to fall asleep.

He kissed her forehead. "Get some sleep, baby. I'll be right here." he said softly.

Krystal nodded slightly and slowly fell asleep. It wasn't hard for her to fall asleep. Seeing as she had, had a tough, yet exciting day. Buddy had moved closer to them both. He had missed them just as much as he had missed Miley.

Max fell into a light sleep incase Krystal woke up and needed him

Krystal stayed asleep and only moved to get more comfortable while she stayed asleep. She was happy with him. Buddy had moved away from Miley and curled up right beside Max's legs. He had missed Max and Krystal more than he thought.

The next morning, Max slowly woke up and kissed Krystal's forehead. Miley woke up and looked at Buddy

Buddy woke up and moved to stretch. He wagged his tail seeing Miley and walked over. He laid down and started licking her face saying good morning. Krystal woke up and using her hand she moved it to find his face before gently kissing his lips. She pulled away and smiled. "Morning, Mr. Smith," she said. She knew James and Britney were probably up.

James was awake and was needing changed big time. Shooter was really weak and was needing a vet.
