Relaxing(James)Mature

"Its was no problem. He's like a brother to me. So, I'll come visit tomorrow when I drop Elena off," he said. He was ready to leave. Elena smiled at Carolyn and new she made a new friend. James was alseep in the bedroom on the bed.

She smiled. "Okay. See you guys tomorrow." she said smiling. She looked upstairs where their bedroom was and decided to let James rest in their room while she rested on the couch

Elena left with Stefan. James woke and felt like cuddling but he didn't see her in the bedroom. He connected his mind to hers and told her he felt like cuddling.

She ran to their bedroom and went to lay on the bed next to James. She nuzzled her face into his chest and tried hard not to cry. She had almost lost him today

He told her in her mind if she wanted to cry to go ahead. He was actually crying himself as he had not wanted to die on her today and it almost happened. He wrapped her into his arms and held her close.

She started to sob into his chest and she held on to him. When she was crying she told him in his head sadly that she almost lost him.

He sent to her that he knew that and that he was sorry for what Katherine yelled. He held her close and gently rubbed her back. All the wounds from the stakes had healed enough that pink lines were there.

She nodded and clung to him. Her sobs quiet down to crying. The crying went down to a sad whimper and she looked up at James with her tear stained face.

"I love you, Carolbaby. Your the only one I ever want to be with as a human being and as a vampire," he said. He gently kissed her forehead.

She closed her eyes and then opened them again. "I love you too, my love." she said softly. She snuggled closer to him and sighed happily. She looked up at him again. "Elena said she would love to go dress shopping with me. Stefan and Elena are coming over tomorrow so me and Elena could go dress shoping together." she said

"Hmm, maybe she could be your witness to the wedding," he said. He knew it would be perfect to do that.

She smiled and nodded. "I can ask her tomorrow." she said smiling. She couldn't wait for tomorrow to come

"Hmm, I was wondering when I'd see you smile again," he said. He gently kissed her lips and smiled at her.

She closed her eyes during the kiss and smiled at him. "I'm so excited for tomorrow." she said smiling. She then frowned softly. "Stefan told me that they gave Katherine vervain and were going to keep her lock in the basement." she said

"Good it'll keep her sedated and without food for a while," he said. He held her close still and knew vervain would harm them both but it was safe for when people drank it in town and Damien was giving it to the sheriff to give to the town.

She nodded and snuggled into his side.

He was ready to rest for the night. "Hmm, we need to rest. Even if we don't really need to sleep, we still need to rest," he said. He was one happy man right now.

She nodded and she rested her head on his chest. She drew little hearts on his chest and smiled softly.

"Hmm, I'm going to get a tattoo tomorow while your off shopping. I'll pull money out of my bank before I let you take my debit card so I can get the tattoo I have in mind. But, you can't see it until after the wedding," he said. He was going to do something he'd never done before.

She nodded and smiled. "Okay." she said

"Hmm, I promise nothing to big and nothing too small. But, something very, very detailed. Don't worry you'll love it," he said. He was actually tired for a vampire. He still had to heal more before tomorrow.

She smiled and nodded. "You still need some rest, love." she said softly.

"I know, take a look at the wounds so far," he said. He pulled off his shirt where two pink lines were on his torso. on his legs were two pink lines on both legs.

She looked at his wounds in concern and gently touched his chest. She sighed softly and look at him

"The pink lines mean they are healing on the inside and soon I'll be fully healed. But, she almost got the area we both need," he said. He looked in his boxers seeing a thin pink line close to his tool.
